Assistant Marketing Manager
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be assisting the marketing and communications team in planning and executing strategy. This role is best suited for early career professionals with some experience, especially if you’re interested in any of the following: corporate, tech, politics, or public affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Assistant Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Execution and coordination of marketing and communication strategies/plans: Helping implement marketing strategies across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram, ensuring assets are delivered on time and aligned with the overall plan.
Team support: Assisting the Marketing Manager in coordinating with freelance creatives and marketing associates, tracking deliverables, and helping maintain smooth workflows for ongoing campaigns.
Collaboration with data nerds: Working closely with the data team by translating their findings into simple, usable notes or draft insights that the team can finalize for decision-makers.
Performance monitoring: Continuously evaluating and refining existing campaigns to ensure they are on-target.
Trend awareness: Keeping an eye on relevant digital marketing trends and sharing useful updates with the team to help keep our strategies fresh and competitive.
Data Validators
Remote, Freelance, 15–20 hours/week, Flexible Schedule
We are looking for sharp-eyed Data Validators to help us keep our datasets clean, consistent, and analysis-ready. This position is fully remote, freelance, requires 15–20 hours/week at a flexible schedule. Best for those early career in the social sciences or communication research, or switching careers into more data-driven roles.
What You’ll Do
Check, clean, and correct structured data across multiple spreadsheets, dashboards, and reports.
Validate categorical fields, ensuring labels are consistent and correct
e.g., narrative slants properly tagged, sentiment categories aligned, entity labels standardized, location fields consistent.
Correct typos, inconsistencies, and formatting issues (e.g., capitalization, spacing, encoding errors, date formats).
Flag ambiguous entries and escalate unclear cases for review.
Ensure naming conventions are followed across tags, categories, and metadata.
Perform sanity checks against source materials (e.g., social posts, transcripts, screenshots) when needed.
Work closely with analysts to maintain data accuracy and reliability in weekly and monthly reports.
Examples of Day-to-Day Tasks
Confirm that slant tags such as positive/negative/neutral follow project rules.
Standardize political or narrative labels (e.g., “pro-admin,” “anti-admin,” “issue-based”).
Check if location tags use the same format (e.g., Davao City vs. Davao).
Clean malformed links, hashtags, or account handles.
Ensure “missing,” “NA,” and empty fields follow a single rule rather than multiple messy variants.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Experience with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel)
Comfortable with repetitive data-quality tasks
Fluent in Cebuano and/or Dabawenyo (many posts and entries you’ll validate are written in these languages)
Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
Familiarity with social media content is a plus
Best if you have social science background, such as educational or professional background in sociology, anthropology, or psychology.
Work Hours
15–20 hours per week, flexible schedule
Fully remote

Initially, PHP 15,000 to PHP 20,000/month for this part-time freelance role, depending on experience and skills.
